Christine M. White is a partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group. She defends employers in a broad range of employment litigation.
Christine is an experienced advocate for employers. She has successfully defended clients in cases involving critical workplace issues at the federal and state levels. Her extensive litigation experience includes representing employers against claims of race, sex, age, national origin, and disability discrimination, as well as breach of contract, retaliation, defamation, harassment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress claims. Christine also concentrates on wage-and-hour compliance and litigation. In addition to handling US Department of Labor audits and investigations for companies, she has represented employers, primarily in the energy industry, in numerous individual, mass plaintiff, and collective actions involving these issues.
Christine also has experience defending federal and state law claims involving employee benefits, wages, and family and medical leave issues and has successfully represented employers in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. In addition to her litigation practice, Christine regularly advises and counsels employers on a wide variety of employment-related issues.
