Maritime Attorneys Speak at Greater New Orleans Barge Fleeting Seminar

James E. Wright, III, Marc C. Hebert, and Jefferson R. Tillery, all partners in the firm’s Admiralty & Maritime Practice Group, recently spoke at the Greater New Orleans Barge Fleeting Association’s annual River and Marine Industry Seminar held in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Wright gave a presentation titled “How to Handle Civil and Criminal Investigations and Prosecutions by the U.S. Coast Guard and Department of Justice,” while Mr. Tillery spoke on “Economic Losses Recoverable in a Marine Collision Under the Oil Pollution Act and Damages Available for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.” Mr. Hebert served as a moderator for both of the above panels, as well as “The Uninspected Vessel and Regulations Affecting These Vessels,” and served as panelist for “The Everyday Exposures to Marine Companies When Dealing With Exchange of Funds.”
