Duncan Ranked Among World's Top Gaming Attorneys in Chambers Global Guide

DuncanPartner J. Kelly Duncan, a member of the firm's Board of Directors, has been listed among the world's top gaming attorneys in the 2009 edition of Chambers Global Guide. Mr. Duncan was one of only nine gaming attorneys from the United States listed by Chambers & Partners as a notable practitioner in the area of Gaming & Gambling.

Commentators in the market noted that Mr. Duncan is "definitely Louisiana's go-to guy" and is "someone who'll get the job done exactly when you need it done." Mr. Duncan has also been recognized annually since 2005 in "Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business" in the area of Gaming & Licensing, and listed in The Best Lawyers in America® (Copyright Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, SC) in both Gaming Law and Maritime Law. Additionally, he has been listed in Louisiana Super Lawyers since 2007 in the area of Transportation/Maritime Law.

Mr. Duncan serves as the head of the firm's gaming practice and is a member of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys and the International Masters of Gaming Law. Since the passage of legislation in Louisiana in the early 1990s authorizing video poker, riverboat gaming, the land based casinos, and racinos, Mr. Duncan has been integrally involved in the representation of major casino companies, manufacturers, suppliers, and financial institutions regarding all matters relating to the development, financing, and operation of such facilities.
