Partner Regina N. Hamilton has been invited to join the Louisiana State Law Institute Corporation Committee, a group of attorneys working on the proposed adoption of the Model Business Corporations Act in Louisiana. The committee is working to modify the act as needed to harmonize it with Louisiana’s civil law system, with the ultimate goal of improving Louisiana's corporate statute, which will enable the state to keep up with national developments in this area of the law. The Louisiana State Law Institute is housed at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center and is an agency of the Louisiana State Legislature.
