Tyler J. Rench is an associate in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's New Orleans office. Mr. Rench handles commercial litigation with a focus on defending class actions and civil RICO cases. He also handles oil and gas and banking litigation before federal and state courts, and in alternative dispute resolution.

Mr. Rench joined Jones Walker in 2011 after graduating from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he placed second in his graduating class and received his juris doctor degree, summa cum laude. While at Loyola, Mr. Rench served as a member of the Loyola Law Review and was an oralist on Loyola's National Moot Court Team. Prior to law school, Mr. Rench attended Tulane University, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish.

Before joining Jones Walker, Mr. Rench worked at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana as an extern to the Honorable Sarah S. Vance. Additionally, he collaborated with Loyola College of Law Interim Dean, Kathryn Venturatos Lorio, on updating her Louisiana Civil Law Treatise on Successions and Donations.

Mr. Rench is active in the Louisiana legal community and is involved in local non-profit and civic organizations.
