Our clients call on us for representation and counsel in civil and criminal tax controversy matters and disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
In addition, we represent clients in both administrative proceedings and in litigation regarding state and local tax matters, including those relating to income, franchise, sales, use, ad valorem, occupational license, and severance taxes. Attorneys in our Tax & Fiduciary Litigation practice are also active in legislative matters on behalf of clients and regularly interface with our government relations-focused attorneys with respect to pending statutes and regulations.
