Jay Adams and Andre Burvant, partners in the Tax Practice Group in the New Orleans office, virtually presented at the Council on State Taxation’s Annual Conference on October 21, 2020. Jay and Andre presented a cooking demonstration titled “A Little Louisiana Lagniappe,” featuring gumbo and bananas foster. This unique presentation combined a fun experience for conference attendees, while also mixing in a discussion about raw materials, further processing, and the taxation of a finished product.
