His presentation, "Acquisitions, Mergers, and Divestitures," covered the dos and don'ts of conducting a due diligence review, verifying documents are drafted correctly, mitigating successor liability issues, and considering issues after the transaction. The four-day COST intense program is for tax attorneys and accountants with more than three years of multi-state corporate tax experience and who are involved in either compliance or planning functions.
