On December 3, 2008, labor and employment attorneys, Mark Adams, Sid Lewis, and Jennifer Kogos, presented a very timely all-day Master Class to 40 human resource professionals on the recent amendments to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the U.S. Department of Labor's final regulations concerning the amendments. The regulations were published on November 17 and will take effect on January 16, 2009. The dramatic changes brought about by the FMLA amendments and the new FMLA regulations are the first changes in the law in over 15 years.
