JoJo Adams, a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Jackson office, spoke at the Annual Mississippi Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Conference and Expo September 8–10, 2025, in Biloxi, Mississippi. JoJo's first presentation, “The Compliance Carousel: Spinning Through PWFA, PDA, FMLA & PUMP Act,” outlined key compliance considerations for employers accommodating pregnant employees and those with related medical conditions. His second presentation, “The HR Big Top: Balancing Law, Logic, and a Little Bit of Chaos,” explored common workplace challenges that, if mishandled, can quickly become legal pitfalls.
