Jay Adams, partner and leader of the state and local tax team in the New Orleans office, presented at the Institute for Professional in Taxation (IPT) Sales Tax School I in Atlanta, Georgia on February 27, 2024. His presentation “Legal Introduction” helped participants understand the hierarchy of laws, the potential consequences of tax audits and appeal, resolution strategies with taxing authorities, and how to successfully apply the concept of nexus.
