Jay Adams, a partner on the State and Local Tax Team in the New Orleans office, served as an instructor during the Institute for Professionals in Taxation’s "Sales Tax School I" on February 25, 2019, in Atlanta, Georgia. Jay presented to more than 200 attendees on recognizing the hierarchy of laws, understanding the consequences of specific decisions when working with the Department of Revenue and ways to resolve disputes, and identifying the four prongs of the commerce clause and the case.
