Andy Lee, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group and co-chair of the firm’s privacy and data security team, published the article “Are Stakeholders Finally Taking Maritime Cybersecurity Seriously?” in the October issue of Homeland Security Today. In the article, Andy recaps the findings in Jones Walker’s Maritime Cybersecurity Survey released in November 2018, and he explains that recent events emphasize how critical it is for the maritime industry to take cybersecurity seriously and to be prepared for potential systems breaches.
