William M. Backstrom, Jr., and John F. Fletcher, both partners in the firm's Tax & Estates Practice Group in the New Orleans and Jackson offices, spoke at the Council on State Taxation ("COST") 2013 Spring Audit Session/Income Tax Conference on May 19-22, 2013. Mr. Backstrom, in addition to giving the welcome to New Orleans, gave a presentation titled, "The Nitty Gritty of Increased Taxpayer Reporting and Disclosure." Mr. Fletcher spoke on the ethical and professional challenges facing state tax professionals in a presentation titled, "Early Morning Ethics Coffee Talk: Ethical & Professional Challenges Facing State Tax Professionals."
