Fletcher, in the Jackson office, spoke at the American Bar Association's Advanced Income Tax Seminar in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 16, 2015. Mr. Backstrom moderated the panel "Best Practices for the Tax Administration of Income Taxes" and provided insight about the state's plan for the income and franchise tax arena for 2015 and beyond. Meanwhile, Mr. Fletcher spoke on "An In-Depth Look at the New Market Tax Credit Rules and Recent State Developments on Apportionment Issues" and provided updates on litigation and resulting legislation about recent state apportionment issues.
