On May 17, New Orleans tax partner Bill Backstrom presented at the Louisiana Sales and Use Tax Update Seminar held at the Vantage Point Performance Center in Baton Rouge. The seminar sponsored by the National Business Institute provided an overview of the Louisiana sales and use tax system and in-depth analysis of tax issues applicable for companies doing business in the state.
