William M. Backstrom, Jr., a partner on the State and Local Tax Team in the New Orleans office, presented during the 2018 Southeastern Association of Tax Administrators (SEATA) Conference in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday, July 16, 2018. Mr. Backstrom spoke on the panel “Significant Cases in the Southeast and Around the Country.” SEATA’s membership consists of the tax administration agencies of twelve states in the southeast. The purpose of the association is to promote cooperation among the southeastern states in taxation and tax related matters and to exchange ideas on tax administration.
