On July 12-15, New Orleans tax partner Bill Backstrom presented corporate income and franchise taxation for accountants, attorneys, and other professionals at the Summer Institute in Taxation held at the Westin New York at Times Square.  The four-day seminar, sponsored by the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies Center for Finance, Law, and Taxation served as an introduction to state and local taxation.
