In July, tax partner Bill Backstrom will speak on state and local taxation issues at two separate sessions of New York University's Summer Institute in Taxation.  The Institute is one of the premier state and local tax programs in the country and runs from July 11-22 at the Westin New York in Times Square.  On July 12, Mr. Backstrom will present "Corporate Income and Franchise Taxation" and on July 19, he will present "Risk Management Issues – Dealing with Section 404."  This will be the fifth year that Mr. Backstrom has presented at the Institute.
