Chris Ulfers, a partner in the Maritime Practice Group, and Jim Kearns, special counsel in the Maritime Practice Group, co-authored the article “Balancing Policy Objectives For The EPA Clean Ports Program,” published by The Waterways Journal on October 18, 2024. In the article, Chris and Jim provide insight into the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Clean Ports Program and the challenges created for grant programs like those of EPA when the equipment currently available to meet the objectives of a grant program does not meet the Build America, Buy America requirements.
