We are pleased to announce that Rae Vasquez, a partner in the Baton Rouge office, was elected to serve as the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) general counsel.

Rae represents clients in a broad range of commercial, finance, and real estate transactions. She has significant insight into economic development public-private partnerships, having represented clients in both the public and private sectors. Rae has also participated in a range of economic development projects, with a specific focus on securing economic development incentives from various state and municipal agencies.

Rae has been involved with BRAC and has previously served as a member of the Business Development Advisory Committee and the Education and Workforce Issue Council. She currently serves on Louisiana State University’s National Diversity Advisory Board; on the Junior League of Baton Rouge Community Advisory Board; as the vice president of the board of directors for the Knock Knock Children’s Museum; and as chair of the Nominating Committee for Friends of Louisiana Public Broadcasting.
