Hart Benton, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group in the Mobile office, was elected as president of the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program (SAVLP) for a two-year term, effective January 1, 2026. The SAVLP provides access to justice to over 5,000 low-income individuals by extending free civil legal services through the dedication of volunteer lawyers, empowering clients to navigate the justice system with dignity.
