Kentucky will join dozens of states to offer legal sports wagering in the state. The Commonwealth's nine racetracks will soon be able to apply for the up to 27 online licenses available in the state. The tracks may also have retail sportsbooks at the tracks and the track's satellite locations.

Once the bill goes into effect, which should be late June, the state racing commission will have six months to establish regulations.
