The article, “Supreme Court Narrows the Landscape for Personal Jurisdiction,” discusses the recent United States Supreme Court rulings in BNSF Ry. v. Tyrell and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co v. Superior Court, and how those rulings in many cases effectively reduce the number of jurisdictions that can exercise personal jurisdiction over a defendant.
