Ellis Brazeal, a partner on the aerospace and aviation team in the Birmingham office, was elected as Chairman of the Industrial Advisory Board for the Aerospace and Engineering Mechanics Department at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on April 22, 2022. The department is now the 20th largest aerospace engineering department in the country. The board is composed of over 50 aerospace and defense industry professionals and executives who provide external review and advice on the University's aerospace department including education and research. Ellis is the first attorney to hold the position of Chairman of the board.
