Ellis Brazeal, a partner and co-leader of the firm's aerospace and aviation team, was inducted as a 2026 Distinguished Engineering Fellow by the University of Alabama's Styslinger College of Engineering on April 25, 2026, at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Each year, the College inducts a select group of alumni and supporters as fellows, the highest commendation given to graduates, to recognize individuals whose accomplishments, leadership, and support have strengthened the reputation of the College and the broader fields of engineering and computer science. Ellis supports engineering by teaching space law to engineering students and practicing aerospace and defense law.
