Ellis Brazeal, a partner in the Birmingham office, presented a national teleconference titled “Renewable Energy: Power Purchase Agreement and Leases,” hosted by the National Business Institute on May 18, 2020. Ellis discussed the various tax incentives available to both business owners and residential customers. He focused on the various types of contracts typically utilized in the renewable energy industry, as they relate to different business structures and the concomitant tax ramifications.
