The article titled, "Business Bankruptcies Fall 23% As Banking Climate Improves," discusses the national trend of bankruptcy filings returning to more normal levels after the increased number of filings leading to and following the recession. When discussing the declining numbers of bankruptcy filings, Mr. Brazeal states that the "banks' substantial progress in working through the defaulted loans has led to fewer bankruptcies."
