NEW ORLEANS—Jones Walker is pleased to announce that Britton H. Seal has joined the firm as an associate in the Corporate & Securities Practice Group. He will practice from the firm's New Orleans office.

With broad knowledge of corporate and securities law, Mr. Seal has experience representing clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; private equity transactions; business entity formation, counseling, and capitalization; and public company securities compliance. He has worked with a wide range of domestic and foreign public and privately held clients in the technology, financial, health care, manufacturing, transportation, and real estate industries.

Prior to joining Jones Walker, Mr. Seal was an associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in Birmingham, Ala. He is a 2005 graduate of Tulane University Law School, where he received his juris doctor degree, cum laude, and served as Business Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. Mr. Seal spent the fall semester of his third year of law school at the University of Hong Kong, where he studied commercial and trade law of Asia. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Washington and Lee University in 1995.
