Louis E. Buatt, special counsel in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, will moderate a panel discussion at the upcoming Coastal Marine Institute Research and Energy Industry Symposium. This event takes place on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in the Dalton J. Woods Auditorium of the LSU Energy, Coast, and Environment Building.
The symposium will review how energy exploration of the Outer Continental Shelf impacts the natural environments and socio-economic health of coastal Louisiana. Mr. Buatt, a former assistant secretary for the Department of Environmental Quality, will be moderating the panel discussion at the event titled, "Moving Forward after the DWH Oil Spill: The Next 20 Years of CMI Research."
