Thomas A. Casey, Jr., a partner in the Business & Commercial Litigation section in the firm’s New Orleans office, will be a panelist at the upcoming September 6, 2017 meeting of the National Association of Motor Vehicle Boards and Commissions ("NAMVBC") in Alexandria, VA. The panel will address the opportunity for mediation in the regulatory setting. NAMVBC is a national organization made up of the state regulators throughout the country who regulate the franchise relationship between motor vehicle manufacturers and their dealers. Mr. Casey has represented manufacturers in more than 50 dealer regulatory proceedings in ten states on proceedings involving dealership terminations, termination assistance, sale agreements, relocations, facility requirements, incentive programs, audit challenges, incentive and warranty fraud, performance standards, product allocation, rights of first refusal, and licensing, among others.
