Jones Walker tax credit finance team members participated in the Novogradac 2024 Fall New Markets Tax Credit Conference in New Orleans, October 24, 2024. Chris Wootten's panel presentation "Challenges, Opportunities in a Successful New Orleans NMTC Transaction" covered the hurdles and approaches taken by a New Orleans nonprofit community health organization that used NMTC financing to add a four-story, 35,000-square-foot facility in Mid-City New Orleans, covering their journey from rented spaces to offering comprehensive health services in a dedicated location.
