In the November 28 issue of New Orleans CityBusiness, Mike Chernekoff, litigation partner and chair of the firm's environmental and toxic tort practice, was quoted in the legal affairs/ law firm focus article, "Class-Action Craze," addressing the rash of class action suits resulting from Hurricane Katrina. The article mentioned the class action suits against Murphy Oil, Jefferson Parish, the Levee Board, the Sewerage & Water Board and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, among others.
