Mark A. Cunningham, a partner in the firm's Corporate Compliance & White Collar Defense Team in the New Orleans office, recently spoke at the REAL WOMEN REAL VOICES Conference on Prisoner Reentry at Newcomb College in New Orleans. Mr. Cunningham was a featured speaker on a panel discussion called Bridging the Gap – A Conversation with the Directly Impacted and the Justice System, with Judge Sandra C. Jenkins, Judge Scott Schlegel, Louisiana Supreme Court Assistant General Counsel Alanah Odoms Hebert, and Dr. Kristi B. Miller, the Assistant Warden of the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women and creator of Hannah’s Gifts. The conference was sponsored by several nonprofits dedicated to supporting women transitioning back into the community and workforce after completing their prison sentences including the local group Operation Restoration.
