J. Kelly Duncan, a partner in the firm's Admiralty & Maritime Practice Group, was elected Chairman of the Bureau of Governmental Research ("BGR") Board of Directors on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, and began his term that day. Established in 1932, the BGR is a private, nonprofit, independent research organization dedicated to informed public policy making and the effective use of public resources for the improvement of government in the New Orleans metropolitan area.
