J. Kelly Duncan, chair of the firm's Gaming Practice Group in the New Orleans office, served as a panelist on the discussion of "Daily Fantasy Sports in Europe and in the U.S." during the International Masters of Gaming Law Autumn Conference on October 25, 2016, in Dublin, Ireland. In addition to Mr. Duncan, gaming attorneys from Europe and the Chief Investment Officer of DraftKings also participated on the panel. Daily fantasy sport is one of the hottest legal issues in the gaming industry and is an active topic for lawmakers, regulators, and law enforcement officials in nearly two dozen states.
