Dan Martin and Avery Pardee, partners on the corporate compliance and white collar defense team, presented the CLE presentation, "Encounters with Law Enforcement: Helping Companies Respond Effectively to Law Enforcement Investigations and Overreach," to the Associate of Corporate Counsel (ACC) on May 18, 2023, in Birmingham, Alabama. This session outlined the steps a company should take in order to prepare for law enforcement action in whatever form it may take, whether it be witness interviews, a grand jury subpoena, or execution of a search warrant.
