Curtis R. Hearn and Asher J. Friend, both partners in the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the New Orleans office, presented at the Association of Corporate Counsel's ("ACC") Houston Chapter Meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Their presentation titled, "Feeling Conflicted? Identifying and Resolving Conflicts of Interest from the Board's Perspective," discussed issues facing Boards of Directors, management, and company counsel today. The presentation focused on providing meaningful and practical guidance to corporate counsel, executives, and directors on recognizing and developing best practices for handling conflicts of interest.
