Lafayette, La.— Jones Walker is pleased to announce that C. Dean Domingue has joined the firm's Lafayette office as a special counsel in the Business and Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
Mr. Domingue is a U.S. Registered Patent Attorney and will focus in the area of intellectual property including patent, trademark, copyright law as well as litigation management and other related transactional work. He joins the current team of eight U.S. Registered Patent Attorneys at Jones Walker and has over 20 years of experience in the intellectual property practice.
Mr. Domingue was previously a Senior Patent Counsel for Halliburton, where he managed the intellectual property issues for engineering and geoscience software applications as well as real-time petrophysics and formulation evaluation solutions. He is an active member of several professional organizations as well as the Founding Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association's Intellectual Property Section. Mr. Domingue also served as President of the Lafayette Bar Association in 2000.
