Sara Kuebel, an associate in the Maritime Practice Group, co-presented "Forum Selection vs Forum Shopping – Where Will Your Lawsuit Be Tried?" during LSU Law’s 21st Judge Alvin B. Rubin Conference on Maritime Personal Injury Law on March 15, 2024. The presentation provided a plaintiff and defense perspective on personal jurisdiction as well as a discussion of venue for maritime cases and the validity of forum selection clauses in maritime cases.
