Janice Foster, special counsel in the Tax Practice Group in the New Orleans office, was inducted into the Tulane Law Hall of Fame at the 2022 Tulane Law Hall of Fame Luncheon on May 13, 2022, at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District Hotel. She was also presented with the prestigious Trailblazer Award, which recognizes Tulane graduates who led the way to the university becoming a more inclusive, diverse, and welcoming community. Janice was the first African American female graduate of Tulane University School of Law In 1970, where she was awarded Order of the Coif and was a member of Law Review.
