Partner Asher J. Friend has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Choice Foundation, a nonprofit corporation in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Choice Foundation's mission is to promote school choice initiatives in Louisiana, demonstrating that a choice in schools results in better schools. The Foundation is the chartering body for Lafayette Academy, a pre-K through 7^th grade school in New Orleans with close to 800 students. Since its founding in 2004, the Foundation has dedicated all its energy and resources to providing guidance and expertise to Lafayette Academy.
