Asher J. Friend, a partner in the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the New Orleans office, was selected as part of the 2013-2014 class of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute ("NORLI"). Each year, NORLI selects a diverse group of community leaders to participate in a thought-provoking, nine-month long educational program to help the participants and the community promote regionalism. During the program, participants experience a variety of statewide issues presented through lectures, on-site visits, readings, and discussion groups. NORLI provides current and emerging leaders with a more thorough understanding of regional issues and an enhanced ability to collaborate for the greater good of the community.
