On June 8, Baton Rouge public finance partner Regina Hamilton was named one of eight influential women in business by the Baton Rouge Business Report. Ms. Hamilton was recognized for her dedication to public interest, both in and out of the professional arena and for her recent appointment as the Louisiana representative to the Small Business Administration Office of the National Ombudsman. Hamilton sees her role in public finance as a “way of combining a public-service concept with business law …getting things done – building things for people.” Ms. Hamilton and the other seven recipients were honored at a luncheon on June 15 at the Baton Rouge Marriott.
