Partner Miriam Wogan Henry has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Prospective members, Fellows, are nominated by members in their geographic area and are evaluated on the basis of professional reputation and ability in the fields of trusts and estates and on the basis of having made substantial contributions to these fields, through lecturing, writing, teaching, and bar activities.
Ms. Henry, who leads Jones Walker's Tax & Estates Practice Group, is a frequent speaker on tax, trust, and estate issues before a variety of professional organizations. She is a member of the American Bar Association's Sections of Taxation and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, and serves on the Planning Committee of Louisiana State University's Estate Planning seminar.
