Bill Hines, executive committee chair of Jones Walker, testified on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. before the U. S. Senate Environment & Public Works Committee in Washington, D.C. concerning federal response to Hurricane Katrina and the ongoing economic and other recovery efforts in the Greater New Orleans area. Mr. Hines testified on behalf of Greater New Orleans, Inc. and in his role as co-chair of the Economic Development Committee of Mayor Ray Nagin's Commission to Rebuild New Orleans.
