Bill Horton, a partner in the Birmingham office and co-leader of the firm’s Healthcare Industry Team, has been named to the founding Board of Directors of the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) Foundation, Inc., the tax-exempt charitable arm of the NBTA. The NBTA Foundation’s chief purpose is to promote the organization’s educational and charitable activities—to support the Tournament of Champions, an invitation-only trial advocacy tournament for law students; to provide educational opportunities to trial lawyers; to extend financial assistance to public servants and law students for educational programs; and to support local NBTA chapter community service programs.
