Horton, a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group and member of the Healthcare team in the Birmingham office, will speak at the Birmingham Bar Association's Women Lawyers Section CLE, "I Can Go to Jail For That? An Introduction to Healthcare Fraud & Abuse," on October 30, 2015. Mr. Horton will provide an introduction to basic concepts of healthcare fraud, including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, and the False Claims Act.
