Jay Adams, a partner and leader of the state and local tax team in the New Orleans office, presented at the American Petroleum Institute (API) Excise Tax Forum in Houston on June 5, 2024. Jay's presentation "Hot Topics in Alabama, Louisiana, & Mississippi" included an update on the Louisiana Industrial Ad Valorem Tax Exemption Program, taxes on oil and gas inventory, and manufacturing machinery and equipment exclusions.
