Tax Practice Group partner David Edwards and associate Hobie Hotard were quoted in the article "Tulane Law Alumni Behind the Beginning and Future of Louisiana Trust Law" published on Tulane University Law School’s website on November 28, 2023. The article highlights the impact Tulane Law professors and alumni have had on the development of Louisiana trust law. David looked back on the benefit of having Tulane Law professor Ron Scalise as the Reporter for the Louisiana Trust Code and Successions Committees and the impact Scalise and other professors have had on his practice. Hobie noted his experience studying trust law at Tulane with professors who write and update the law in Louisiana has given him an edge in his practice and allows him to better serve people and families with estate plans and business succession plans.
